September was a landmark month for Fringe Finance, with the official launch of V2.5 and numerous advancements in technology, marketing, and strategic integrations. Here’s a comprehensive overview of our key activities and achievements.
Technology Updates
V2.5 Launch
Fringe Finance hit a major milestone with the official release of V2.5 on September 24, 2024. This upgrade introduces key features designed to enhance the utility of LP and ERC4626 tokens and provide more options to their holders to maximize their capital efficiency.
- LP Token Support: We’ve listed UniV2 Ethereum and SushiSwap Polygon-based LP and plan to expand to other LP tokens soon.
- Expanded Token Listings: We’ll soon have ERC4626 and more meme coins besides LP tokens.
- Infrastructure enhancements: We upgraded our liquidation mechanism, improved our price handling, added a new price feed type (Uniswap v3), and more!

New Listings and new chain deployment: BASE
Now that we have ensured this upgrade was successful, we have turned our efforts to other important items on our agenda: adding new listings to the platform and expanding our chains offering.
We continue to assess new listing opportunities for all different asset types available on the platform, ensuring the quality and security of these new additions.
Our new chain will be BASE! As home to a thriving ecosystem and a powerful DeFi landscape, Fringe will naturally deploy an instance there to help unlock the capital efficiency of various asset types. We’ve already begun integrating this network into our platform, and progress is moving at a good pace.
Marketing and Content Updates
We leverage our partners to announce the launch, amplify our content, and bring more users to the platform.

X Space AMA
We participated in an AMA session addressing key questions around Fringe’s unique DeFi offerings, price manipulation resistance, and our advanced interest rate models. This event helped strengthen our community engagement and spread awareness about the V2.5 launch.
Looking Ahead
As we move into October, we are focusing on:
- Expanding our listings with more ERC4626 tokens, exotic assets and multi-chain tokens, including upcoming opportunities on zkSync and Polygon.
- Next phase of our roadmap: Adding BASE to our list of supported chains, styling changes on the app, and ongoing work on the v3 platform.
