August was a busy month for Fringe Finance, marked by significant advancements toward our v2.5 launch and strategic integrations. Here’s a comprehensive overview of the key activities and achievements across our technology, marketing, and content departments.
Technology Updates
Completion of V2.5 Audit
Fringe Finance reached a major milestone by completing the V2.5 audit on August 27, 2024. The audit, conducted by Quill Audits, thoroughly reviewed our smart contracts, and we are happy to highlight that no major issues were found. The audit report is now publicly accessible, providing transparency and confidence in our platform’s security.
Mainnet Deployment Testing
Extensive mainnet deployment tests were initiated in preparation for the rollout of V2.5. The process began with the deployment on the POLY mainnet (V2.0) to validate the upgrade procedure. Following rigorous regression testing, which ensures the system’s stability and functionality, the V2.5 upgrade will be applied to our live instances, significantly enhancing our platform’s capabilities.
Expansion of LP Token and UniV3 Listing Candidates
The month also saw an extensive analysis of the Ethereum chain to identify new LP token candidates for Uniswap V2 and UniV3. This analysis yielded 41 LP token candidates with a total TVL of $500 million and 45–50 UniV3 token candidates with a TVL of $373 million. The team is continuing this analysis across other chains, including Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, zkSync, and Base, intending to broaden the asset listing on Fringe Finance.
Asset Landing Page Update
Our Asset Landing Page (ALP) received a significant update, enhancing the user experience. The ALP now allows users to view all chains and associated statistics without connecting their wallets. This update improves usability and increases the marketing potential by offering comprehensive asset data with minimal user friction.
ERC4626 Token Assessment
Efforts are underway to reassess ERC4626 tokens, aiming to identify new opportunities for listing on Fringe Finance. This strategic move is expected to unlock additional value for our users, particularly in the growing market of yield-bearing vaults.
Marketing and Content Updates
Quickswap Integration and Strategic Outreach
Marketing efforts continued to drive engagement with key projects and personalities, particularly around listing opportunities. We completed the integration with Quickswap and held an X Space with their team, further enhancing our presence in the DeFi space.
Debank Campaign
A campaign on Debank was launched, successfully driving interactions with approximately 1,000 wallets. While the initial response was promising, efforts are ongoing to improve user retention and deepen engagement within the community.
Wow Earn Integration
Fringe Finance is now one of the apps available on Wow Earn wallet! This means its users can use our platform within their app, making their experience even better!
HPOS10I Integration — $BITCOIN
We also integrated $BITCOIN into our platform! With a vibrant and engaged community, this coin is a relevant addition to our current offering.
