The Bonded Ecosystem is becoming more robust on a daily basis. Our goal to be the one-stop destination for all things DeFi, with a sustainable focus on underserved altcoins, is a vision and a growing reality we have not departed from. To track trends is one thing, to chase them another.
What remains unchanged and continues to be a challenge is cross-chain aggregation. This is evolving into something of a luxury problem of sorts—as the ecosystem that is crypto continues to grow so does the fragmentation of liquidity and the continued issues regarding interoperability.
Router is a cross chain liquidity primitive that aims to seamlessly provide bridging infrastructure between various current and emerging layer-1 and layer-2 blockchain solutions. Their mission to work around the scalability trilemma — the trade off between decentralization, scalability and security— is a worthy one. While there are multiple solutions in the works from the usual and customary large platforms and L2 proponents, Router is aimed at providing a solution that will seamlessly port liquidity between these isolated islands and essentially build bridges between them. Router’s cross-chain bridging promotes liquidity migration and developer efforts. For Bonded this is yet another piece to an ever changing puzzle.
We are devoted to providing nascent altcoins the opportunity to thrive and not feel compelled to build on a given chain because it is currently “hot.” In a flourishing land, there are multiple sources of fertility and Bond intends to promote this universe in its entirety.
